Production Operative - Open to Ex Military

Job Summary:

You will play vital role in supporting Charge Hands, Senior Fitters, and Fitters in various assembly tasks. Located in Droitwich Spa, this position involves meticulous attention to detail in assembly procedures, adherence to safety standards, and ensuring the cleanliness and organisation of the factory floor. You will also participate in training programmes to enhance their skills and contribute effectively to the team's success.

Key Responsibilities:

Assembly:

  • Follow instructions provided by Senior Fitters, and Fitters meticulously.
  • Perform pipe work, electrical containment, base, superstructure, and cladding assembly tasks with precision.
  • Uphold installation quality standards to meet customer expectations.
  • Undertake additional tasks assigned by supervisors.

Housekeeping:

  • Execute factory cleaning tasks as per the cleaning schedule to maintain cleanliness and organisation.
  • Uphold high housekeeping standards in accordance with 5S principles.
  • Prioritise the health and safety of oneself and colleagues at all times.

Training:

  • Participate in in-house JKR training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.

Role Requirements:

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Demonstrated punctuality and excellent time management skills.
  • Strong communication abilities to ensure effective coordination with team members.
  • Commitment to hard work and maintaining a positive work ethic.
  • Aptitude for fast learning to adapt to changing tasks and responsibilities.
  • Holder of a CSCS card.
